Emphysema and transplantation board

Joint thorax-surgical-pneumological conference to discuss emphysema and transplant patients.

Tumor board for thoracic malignomas

All thoracic patients will be presented to an interdisciplinary panel and individual treatment recommendations will be developed (including regular quality circles and morbidity/mortality conferences).

Radiology report

Discussion of specific thoracic surgery with the Institute of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology.

Public lecture series on current topics in surgery, with internationally renowned speakers and live video transmissions.

Journal Club

Together with the Clinic for Pneumology and the Pediatric Pneumology of the Children's Hospital Zurich, current scientific publications are presented and discussed.

The participating internal and external physicians present their cases (with video conferencing).
Preregistration not required.

Every week, an interdisciplinary expert committee will present all patients with sarcoma and develop individual treatment recommendations.
